The Vijfhoek still drinks on its own squares. Five medieval streets meet at a tiny junction, then the neighbourhood opens onto Wilsonsplein, Proveniershof, Botermarkt and Nieuwe Kerksplein. This ten-stop tasting walk of about 1.3 km starts at the Stadsschouwburg, pours specialty coffee at Maeva, namesake tapas at Cafe de Vijfhoek, beans at Simon Levelt, terrace coffee at De Roemer, lunch in the hofje, shopping-street coffee at Barista Cafe, ice cream at Garrone, a sit on Nieuwe Kerksplein, and cheese fondue at 't Goede Uur.
