Haarlem put civic pride in Lieven de Key brick on the Grote Markt, then Catholics raised a second Bavo with a dome on the Leidsevaart, outside the old walls. The route starts at that Koepelkathedraal, then the Vleeshal with ram heads and bull heads at Grote Markt 18, the Vishal, and the Hoofdwacht facing the Coster statue. The Toneelschuur sits on Lange Begijnestraat. De Koepel was a panopticon prison, one of three such drums in the country. It ends at Station Haarlem, the only large Dutch station still standing in Jugendstil. Ten stops, about 3 km.
