Wine tasting in De Koepel on 21 November

An afternoon of tasting under the dome

On Saturday 21 November 2026, Liber Wijnkoperij holds its autumn tasting in De Koepel van Haarlem. You pick a round, pay €19.50 per person, and taste wines Liber sets side by side. They describe it as an afternoon of wines from different countries.

De Koepel is the former dome prison on Harmenjansweg. Justice architect W.C. Metzelaar built it between 1899 and 1901. The prison closed in 2016. A cinema now sits inside, and the hall is used for public afternoons like this one.

Two rounds, one guest list

The tasting runs from 12:45 to 18:30, in two blocks.

• Round 1: 12:45 to 15:15
• Round 2: 16:00 to 18:30

Liber does not email a ticket. Your name is on the guest list at the door. Places are limited. If you come with a group, book the same round or you will be split up.

Presale opened first for Liber customers. Anyone can reserve a spot now, until the list is full.

What you get in your hands

A tasting booklet comes with the glasses, with notes on what you are drinking. Every guest also gets an order list, on paper and digital, with discounts that apply only to people who came to this tasting.

On their own events page, Liber calls this the only edition this year you can book on its own. Their other tastings and wine lunches are more often tied to a restaurant or to their customer circle.
