Haarlem once brewed beer for export. The wine trade stayed quieter: a Gierstraat cellar from 1867, a family slijter on the Wagenweg, then tap walls and a glass on the market. This ten-stop walk of about 2 km starts at Grapedistrict Zijlweg, then Le Mortier, The Harlem Social Club, Wijnbar VIQH, Bar Selona, Wijnkoperij Okhuysen, Cafe Colette, Dodici on the Spaarne, Rebel Rebel, and Slijterij Van Balen. How it works
This is a self-guided digital walking tour in the StepQuests mobile app. There is no live guide. After booking you receive an email invitation code to unlock the route. Walk at your own pace in Haarlem with GPS navigation and stories at each stop. Flex PASS ticket: no fixed meeting time or group departure.
Meeting point: Grapedistrict Zijlweg (Grapedistrict Zijlweg, Haarlem). Open the app and tap Start when you arrive.
End point: Slijterij Van Balen (Slijterij Van Balen, Haarlem). No vehicle drop-off. Finish the last stop in the app, then leave when you like.
Admission: outdoor landmark viewing is included in the route; optional paid interior tickets are not included and not required.
