Late summer in the park

At the end of August, ProefPark Haarlem returns to Kenaupark. Edition 12 runs Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026. Food trucks, picnic blankets, drinks and a park full of people stretching the summer a little longer.

Organisers promise about thirty kitchens on wheels and roughly ninety dishes. North Indian to Balkan and plenty in between. Not full plated meals for one, but tasting portions meant for sharing. Prices on the site sit between €3.50 and €15.50.

What else is on

Besides food there are surprise acts and activities for kids and adults. Silent disco is part of the weekend. Bring your own blanket. Outside food and drink are not allowed. Think big terrace on the grass. Leave the packed picnic at home.

Getting there

Kenaupark sits on the north side of the centre, close to the station. Easy if you arrive by train. Pair a morning or late afternoon in the park with a Haarlem walk before or after you eat.

Planning tip

Organisers place this weekend after Formula 1 week. Do not lock a rigid timetable until you have checked the day schedule on their site. Food truck line-ups still move.
