Christmas begins in Haarlem
From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December the city centre turns into one big Christmas market. Around 350 stalls are spread over 12 locations, from the Kruisstraat via the Grote Markt to the Grote Houtstraat, passing the Riviervismarkt, Klokhuisplein, Anegang and Kleine Houtstraat along the way.
Plenty of entertainment
Especially on Saturday and Sunday there's an extensive programme of indoor and outdoor performances, including music and choirs. Prefer it a bit quieter? Friday is a good day to go.

- When: Fri 11 and Sat 12 December 10:30–20:00, Sun 13 December 10:30–19:00
- Where: Haarlem city centre, including the Grote Markt
- Entry: free
- Bikes: the Jacobijnestraat bicycle parking is specially open this weekend
