Why This Event Matters
Haarlem has always been a breeding ground for creativity and music. The event "Haarlemse Popmuziek in een Platenkoffer" offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich pop music history of our city. From the influences of the '60s to contemporary artists, this afternoon is all about the sounds that have shaped Haarlem. Music journalist Peter Bruyn and vinyl DJ Sjef Huurdeman will take you on a journey that is not only informative but refreshing and full of energy.
What to Expect
On Sunday, October 4th at 3:00 PM, Bruyn and Huurdeman will present a dynamic show. They will dive into the history of pop music in Haarlem, from Lou Bandy at 78 RPM to Eskalatie at 33. The presentation is part of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival and in collaboration with the Historical Association Haerlem, which is celebrating its anniversary. Don't miss the exhibition featuring Haarlem record covers, available at Sounds Haarlem from September 26 to October 4.
