Why this matters in Haarlem

On Sunday 1 November Haarlem celebrates El Día de los Muertos — Mexico’s Day of the Dead. At De Witstraat 1A (near De Kamp / DeDAKKAS) the street turns into a lively meeting spot with music, dance, crafts and food. The municipality granted a permit for 12:00–23:00.

  • Traditional music and dance
  • Arts and crafts market
  • Workshops about the meaning of Día de los Muertos
